Managing Technicians and Contractors Details
Overview
The Technician Form allows you to efficiently add and manage details for both technicians and contractors. Technicians are personnel designated to perform services, while contractors are external entities that can supply workers to perform services. Accessible under the People tab, this form serves as a centralized hub for maintaining accurate information about your service providers.
1. Add Technician and Contractor Details
- Go to the People tab.
- Click on the Technician menu.
Fill in the required information in the Technician Form, including:
- Name: Enter the technician's or contractor's name.
- Contact Information: Provide the contact details for the technician or contractor.
- Technician Type: Specify whether the entry is a technician or a contractor.
- Commission Percentage: Specify Commission Percentage for multiple services.
- Add any additional relevant information.
2. Assign Technicians and Contractors to Services
- Access the Technicians report to view a list of all registered Technicians and Contractors details.
- Update technicians and contractors information as needed by editing the existing entry.
- Utilize the information stored in the Technician Form to efficiently assign technicians and contractors to perform services through the Assign Technician or Assign Contractors and Assign Sub Technicians Reports located under the Bookings Tab for Service Bookings.
Additional Tips
- Ensure accurate details to facilitate effective communication and service assignment.
- Leverage the Technician Type field to distinguish between technicians and contractors.
- Use the assigned technicians and contractors for task delegation and service performance.
